What are little boys made of?

Frogs and snails and puppy dog tails, or in our case, lizard tails. I know it seems like I never lack of funny stories to write, I don't, something is always happening around here and for my sake I am trying to write them all down. So here is the latest funny. Honey, the dog, chased a lizard around in the back yard and, might I say, quite a good sized lizard! Quincy got home from school as it was trying to crawl through the back door and we were all a little scared to catch it but decided that for sure Jake would catch it when he got home from school. Just as we thought, Jake went right out and picked it up (he's the one who got bit by a snake, you'd think he's be the scared one), and put it in a bucket. They took it and showed all the neighbor's and then decided to let it go for they had studied it's spots and were sure it was poisonous. About an hour later I had Quincy guide me out of the driveway as we left for soccer because their were kids and bikes everywhere. As he guided me back the kids spotted the lizard and it had just run under my car. "Don't move" said Trav. So I sat there while all the neighbors gathered round the front wheel of my tire. I waited for a minute and then Quincy said "I think you're okay Mom." I thought that even if the lizard was still under the car I would just move very slow and of course it would move. Being that it was a large "poisonous" lizard it didn't move as fast as I thought and I rolled back and ran over the back legs and tail with all the kids bent over, faces just a few feet away. Blood squirted out and the lizard went kind of crippled looking. All the kids wrinkled up their noses and Trav said, "You runned over it Mom." They all stood there staring, so I called Broc and told him to come out and take care of it, have a funeral or something. Instead of a funeral he shooed the kids away and stepped on the rest of it. He buried it in the backyard and Honey dug it up again the next day, Trav found it and said he was so happy it didn't die after all.
