Party in the house
It's summertime and oh, so exciting! I'm all alone while my children party with friends and Ty sleeps, so I thought I would eat a mango and some popcorn and blog away. For now I will put aside the fact that my house is filthy and the laundry hasn't been put away for two weeks, that's part of the greatness of summer I have boys to help keep up. The dog has a mysterious cough today, I wonder if it could be from drinking a gallon of bubble solution that Ty dumped out. Hmmm. Quincy will be in eighth grade and at the big middle school next year. It seems just yesterday that we knelt by his bed for the first time and taught him how to pray, he picked up on it so quick and before long his prayers would go on for 10 minutes and sound like they were given by a returned missionary. Jake will be in sixth grade and on to the intermediate school. I remember driving in the car and watching him pull a booger out of his nose, wiping it on Quincy and then saying, "I wiped a booger on you, Chuck." Quincy was so disgusted, I laughed forever and that made Q even more mad. Jake always has time to hug me for a long time! Travis enters the first grade hall next year. Full days without my Trav are hard to think about. He used to love to wear underwear before he was potty trained and he would dance on the counter in his spidey's. Sweet little Ty stays for many more years and I'm sure they will fly by. We took him to see a fire truck today, he said "WOW" a thousand times. He loves trucks and trains, tractors, anything with wheels. What a sweet boy!
