Jake told me that he had to answer that question at school and this is how he answered, "I get really embarrassed when I'm driving with my Mom and a nice car pulls up next to us and we are driving the Astro." Then he started laughing really hard, I told myself that he was joking because he laughed so hard but he let me know he wasn't joking at all. I was also reminded that we have the pine wood derby on Thursday (it is now Tuesday night) and he's fine not to do it because he just "stinks butt every year." It's good to know that all of our work as parents "stinks butt."
This week has been crazy and I am so glad school has come to an end and I get to party with the kids. Quincy had his getting out of school party on Thursday. Trying to be a cool mother so the friends like me and want to hang at my house, I decided to take him and all his friends out to the lake to ride the wave runners. Picture, if you will, "the astro" loaded down with boys and of course, I'm to cheap to pay eight dollars to get into the lake so we decided to park clear over on the south side and walk into where Chris and Duane had the jet skis. We enjoyed some time talking about school and friends on our walk but it was burning HOT, so far I'm pretty cool. We get to the lake and I had forgotten to put my swimsuit on so I am going to ride fully clothed, garments and all. Story short, I bounced around on the back of the wave runners for about three hours while they took turns driving. We had a whole system, we would get past the buoys and whoever was riding would slide under my legs while I pushed the gas so we wouldn't tip. I ended up wet from my shoulers down, very cool! Even though I didn't drive much I remembered how much I love to ride those, we had a blast.
Jake had a party planned but it had to be postponed because he got knocked out at school, luckily the fire fighters were there and checked him out, all is well. A boy named Tyler Warner was the one who ran into him so we were laughing so hard when he was in the shower last night singing to his own tune, "No one can trust Tyler Warner, he knocks people out..." Jake says it was on purpose, so Quincy told me on the last day of school as Broc and I were walking out the door to stay the night in Vegas, "the only time we'll be leaving is to go beat up Tyler Warner when Jake gets out of school." Brothers, they are each others fiercest enemies at times, but always each others most loyal companion. Trav is so excited to be done with preschool after three years (two of them he had to endure because I worked there). Tyler has been caught this week with all kinds of things in his mouth, it's amazing they live through this time without choking more. He rips up magazines, gets into drawers and cupboards but he has not discovered the toilet yet. Yeah! Since I have OCDC (right, Mom) the toilet will put me over the edge.

K, do you remember basketball practice when I could beat on you, but NO ONE else was allowed! I got in fights trying to protect you (with 6 foot 8 giant amazon women). It's just how siblings are.
.... GOOD POST!
